The kind of work available to young people is changing faster than most classrooms. Automation, digital services and new industries are creating roles that did not exist a decade ago, while some familiar jobs are shrinking.
That raises practical questions. Are schools teaching problem solving and communication as well as exam content? Do vocational courses match what employers actually need? And how can a student in a small town get the same access to opportunity as one in a metro?
